so 6 gm of I2, 4 g of e and 1.5 g of rp was placed in a 130ml glass salt shaker thingy and 4.5ml of dh20 was added and tubing attached to a ballon onto the salt shaker.

this is for a nano scale attempt and is going to be run for 24hrs plus at say around 100 degrees.

my question is have i added to much dh20 (4.5ml) to the precursors. the chilli seems a little thin and runny, will this affect it adversley?

when the water was added and tubing secured the balloon instantly filled up, but their was no smoke or sign of reaction other than the balloon instantly filling and staying filled for around 20 min, then it was placed on heat till bubbles started, and it is presently being kept at this state,

what temperature would this nano be best kept at?

It sounds like too much water. Also, the amount of RP is very low. Even with Lab Grade, this reaction is verging on failure.

Try pausing the reaction. Take it off of heat. Collect some more RP, and toss that in. Don't worry about water evapping, in the event that the vessel isn't completely sealed, in this case it will help get rid of some of that extra H2O. Just don't let the water level drop more than 20% from the original mark.

With the less dH2O and more RP, this reaction could still be saved.

so i recieved this advice alittle to late and ran reaction for 20hrs and made no alterations.

the nano produced some product but very little, but better than nothing, i imagine the poor yeild is reflected by the shortfall of the rp i guess and to much water i feel.

the product was fairly average in potency, but had jaws grinding but no overwhelming euphoria when smoked, but definately inhibbited sleep.

oh well, better than absolutley nothing i guess.
