wassup yall. i've been developing my skills on the extraction of dxm from robitussin maximum strength cough syrup. i've been extracting it using ammonia, naptha, and lemon juice. do any of you know a better extraction method?

Water and HCL would probably work better than lemon juice. And evaporating the water of course. Im in a better mood now.

could you give me an example of the water/hcl extraction (with exact measurements)? have you tried it? does it work?

Um...like the same way you would do any a/b. You would want to dilute the HCL like half or a bit more. And use enough to bring the ph to like 5.5 ....Im assuming. Never tried that. done it with lemon juice hoping it wouldnt taste too bad, wrong!
