SWIM is looking for an easy to understand CAT synth for a book he is writing. He understands basic chemistry procedures, what he is looking for is a synth that in addition to telling what ingredients are needed, also tells where one may find said ingredients ie: "NA4OH which is sold as drain cleaner XXX Brand" etc. This would really help the progress of his book and he would be forever grateful.

Sure, a book. You need pottassium permanganate. Pseudoephedrine. Lye. hcl. Distilled water. NP solvent(colemans, ether, toulene,etc.

You will need 1g pottassium permanganate per 2 1/2g of pseudoephedrine. Mix in a jar the pottassium with the water. About 15ml water per gram pottassium. Add your pseudo and shake it up. Stick this in the fridge for 8-12 hours.

Add enough lye dissolved in a small amount of water for the pH to be 9-10. Test it. Add the lye slowly while stirring with a plastic spoon. when the pH is 9-10, pour in your NP solvent(i use ether). Use as much ether as water/cat. Shake the fucker hard for at least 4 minutes. Then put it down and let it seperate. When its seperated, suck off the top layer(ether) with an eyedropper or syringe or something and put it in a clean jar. Pour some more ether into the pottassium/lye jar and shake the fucker again. Let it seperate again. Suck off the ether and add it to the other jar with the ether.

Now you have a jar with ether in it. In the ether is your cat freebase. Pour some water into the ether and again, shake that bitch. Let it seperate. Suck the water out, or the ether off, so you have the ether alone. Throw away the water.

To finish, put half as much water in with the ether. Drop in hcl ONE drop at a time, shaking and checking pH between drops. Stop adding hcl when the pH is 5-6. Definitely under 7. Shake it real good. When this has been done, remove the water layer(bottom) and evaporate it. The remaining crystals are methcathinone HCL.

The pottassium permanganate, get it in a pharmacy. Just ask the pharmacist. I get it at London Drugs for 100g =10$

The pseudo from decongestants. Figure out how to extract it yourself. Theres many posts about it.

The lye from any grocery store as drain cleaner. Aka sodium hydroxide.



The HCL as muriatic acid. From a hardware store.

NP solvent. Ether, starter fluid(you spray it in the air filter of your car), autoparts store. Colemans camp fuel, hardware store.
