This might be good information for some

of us newbs trying to think straight.

De-natured alcohol is an alcohol that is

very forgiving to rubbers,plastics,waxes

and stuff with polymers or whatever.

De-natured alcohol is used on computer printer paper rollers to clean them without eating up the rubber roller. therefore De-natured might be good for say...obtaining

RedPHOZ of of matchbooks WITHOUT carrying

too much glue off of the book with the RP.

Or soaking P/feds that are time re-lease

because it will absorb the psuedo without

breaking down the waxes in those pills

carrying wax BS over into dissolvation.

Acetone is very harsch on plastics, rubbers

waxes(some) and anything but glass metal

and some High density plastics(chlorethylene)

There fore being useful for say acetone boiling psudo mass after D-natured pulling.

Acetone can at high temperatures(hot not bioling) degrade waxes and BS from a de-natured alc. pull to be strained out and sepereated or evaporated after straining.

All in all the educated use even from a newb

can result in some of the cleanest PHoZ and

psuedo if used right....with acetone and de-natured alc.

Evaporation rates for acetone and de-natured

correspond directly to its CH and CO molecules. One is more succebtible to air than the other. VE's extraction technique

is excellent for red 60's,W/120's and up.

But 'round here I can get psuedo 60's

that have this in the ing:

Psudoephedrine HCI 60 mg

Guifanesin 200 mg

inactives: stearic acid,titanium dioxide,

and something starch. THATS IT. if someone could please tell me

what guifanesin is or what it will and will not dissolve in I can rid my Pfed mass of this bs without transferring it over to my vessel. thinking a(one) previous attemp at

reduction failed for lack of psudo that I thought was sudo....may have been 20%psudo

80% guifan. Dunno but out of 1g of { psuedo?}

all i could come up with was a .30g of the

snatch that I wanted. this is going to be unnacceptable for a larger rxn. I need to find an "easy" way to rid my psudo's of this

guifanesin from the start or from right after

d-nat pull and filter.
