I'm sure there is really no need to post another dreamed up synth, but I am so proud of this one, it is the culmonation of several months research and information gleaned from a stint in a remand centre.

One evening I smoked a big joint, and had a dream that went something like this;

Initailization;

You are committed to your dream, you will put aside all other concerns until your dream is finished. Every waking moment will be dedicated to your dream. You will be cool while procuring, you will be meticulous in preparation, you will be anal in execution, your results will be perfect. Your dream will be nano scale and enough for the use of yourself and your friends only.

Procuring;

Some shit you'll need;

A pyrex measuring cup $4.95

Matchbooks $2

Solvents; xylene, toluene, turpentine, naptha, alchohol(must be %99 ethanol)

Some of this shit can be found at hardware stores but a better source would be a friend in an industry that uses such chemicals, you can get away with just xylene if you have to.

OTC chems; Baking soda, Borax, Hydrogen peroxide.

Hydrochloric acid, this is an essential component, the stuff found in high school chem labs is 12mol (molar ratios are a measure of how diluted an acid is) muriatic pool acid is about 20mol. Just go to a hot tub supply store and tell them your mom sent you down for some pool acid.

oh well on to step one of my dream..

Matchbooks, use "gunk" brand brake cleaner, lay the matchbooks side by side and spray the Gunk across the striking surfaces, don't do more than 10 at a time. Scrape the red crap off the striking surfaces using the end of a spoon or something similar. Do at least 100 books, this will give you something to work with.

Cleaning:

Wash one; put the results of the scrapings into a small pot or pyrex measuring cup, add 250 ml (get used to metric, it's what chemists use) turpentine(available at hardware stores). Heat gently untill you can really smell the turps evaporating, (do I really need to say that open flames and anything that could create a spark are a bad idea) then filter.

Wash 2;

Take the filtrate from wash one and put it in the measuring cup add 300ml 20mol muriatic, put it on a burner and heat it up till it boils or you can't stand the fumes.

Filter it again.

Scraping? That sounds shitty. SWIL always used dry Tone, and a Big Slam bottle with chunks of glass and marbles. Then just filter out the RP/liquid through a wire strainer. Evap. Courtesy of MadMethodist.

Simple, but effective. A few more steps cleans that rubbery RP right up.

Do a water wash on the rp and you should be done, if it is still gummy try another solvent wash.

Get a friend to procure a 4l jug of horse tincture, preferably a friend who looks the part and has some brains.

Put 2l horse tincture, 4l water and 2 cups bleach in a bucket. Add a large bottle of hydrogen peroxide. The I will crystallize and you can filter it out with a fine sieve

or a coarse sieve lined with some cloth.



Ephedrine;

You do not want ephedrine sulfate, but just about any other form will do. Look for econo pills, and never buy more than 2 bokes at a store. Buy about 4 boxes of 60mg tabs.

Grind your ephedrine in a blender with 2 cups water and 1 cup ice. Filter and evap.

Mix the result with 1 cup kitty litter, 1/2 cup activated charcoal from a new brita filter, 3 tbsp corn starch, 1 tablespoon baking soda, 2 tablespoons borax and 2 cups xylene. Heat this mixture to a boil and filter. Add another 2 cups xylene and boil again, filter and add to the results of the first step. Evap the xylene in a large flat pan and scrape up the hopefullly clean E.
