Default Storing Solvents in Plastic Containers?

Is this not a good idea? Will Polymor particles ionize in the Solvents? Does exposure to light inhibit decomposition of solvents? Is there a shelf-life to how long I can store specific Solvents in Plastic containers/bottles ect?

Solvents Im most interested in knowing the awnsers to the questions are as follows:

Naptha (VS&P)

Xylene

MEK

VE's solv mixture (after Epsom/salts are filtered)

Thank U in advanced!

this is a bad idea . most solvents willeat plastic . hell that is what mek is for.

i would just leave them in the can thay came in . just to be safe. there is a reason thay come in metal cans when plastic would be a whole lot cheaper for them to make.

Xylene, or acetone will disolve, EAT, plastics fast. Some of the others might work in the type of plastics containers used for gasoline. However, glass or metal containers are best.
