Well SwiM finally had some success with the FTC & the W.A/B, but he's come across another brand of pills which look easier to work with;

They are white 60's & the box say's;

Also contains MCC, Maize starch, Sodium starch glycollate, Pregelled starch, Stearic acid.

No PEG? No Pov? Does that mean a simple alky pull should suffice?

Most of those inactives are probably polar soluble, so it's probably better to just go "waterless A/B".

There is usually some kind of antihistamine in white 60's. Check to make sure that there isn't one. If there is, then a dry tone soak(about 12-18 hours) should clear out the antihist.

Polar soluble is right. Also looks like slightly soluble in freezing temps. If you have the time and they are not too expensive, try an experiment doing this.

Grind them suckas up real fine.

Get a super fine filter ready. Vacuum filtration is like gold in this situation. If you have one, then make sure you have 2 cotton balls smashed down in the neck of the funnel tight. Then a coupla coffee filters, ironed smooth and fitted perfectly to funnel. If not, use 1 cotton ball carefully rolled moderately tight for the neck and 4-5 cut down coffee filters (I say iron them too, but I'm like the anal retentive chef).

Now, pour in about 200 ml. denat. for 100 pills (which should be enough for a test run)

Time it for 15 minutes, then pour it off into the filter, trying not to get much solid in the filter.

Do this twice more, but use half as much alky and keep them separate from the first pull.

If it filters clear, you got it. If it doesn't, chunk it in the freezer for about 6 hours and filter it again. If it filters clear, you got it. If not, see if you can get your hands on a vacuum pump. (ebay for about 40-50 bucks. Worth every penny.)

Antihistamines really aren't that big a deal. Smoke them and never get a runny nose. yuk, yuk, yuk, yuk, yuk!
