can methcatonone be made by oxidizing pseudoepedrine with hydrogen peroxide? i tried it by putting peroxide in pseudoephedrine(1g) and leaving it in my cupboard for a couple hours, then evaporating the peroxide. before i evaporated it, it smelled like cat. as it was drying it had gone kinda brown and sour smelling. it wouldnt smoke well so i ate it. it was rather speedy. should i have done an acid/base extraction?

You may have gotten a partial oxidation, but nothing real good. The cold reaction method using potasium permanganate, or the Jones reaction using acid dichromate would be the better ways one could go. Go to "lab tips" and Rodium and study up.

i extracted the pseudo from pills with methanol.i dried it before i added 80 ml of 10 volume (regular)peroxide from the store.
