Swis recently found a 50ml. boiling flask and was curious to know would this size

vessel be capable of doing a 2 grm. nano?

It should be fine, as long as the balloon is extra sturdy, or is otherwise taped to a piece of extended tubing or such.

Is the flask tall, or does it have a longer neck? This will be a crucial factor.

Also, super clean RP will help, as then it will occupy less space, as less weight is needed.

Lukky D, the flat bottom flask has a neck

that extends 2" above the round part of the flask. Is this adequate? The top of the neck

has a nice flared lip for a balloon to be attached. Swis will make sure about the sturdy balloon and taping it. Extra cleaning of the rp also!

It sounds fine, but remember that it will be safer to run this reaction with less heat. Keep an eye on it.

Make sure to really powder all precursors with a good mortar and pestle. This will get them all as fine as possible for mixing, and also should take up less space.

sb swim has found that using the hose with the ballon at the end of the hose is a lot better . not as much pressure, meaning the ballon wont pop as easy .
