It could be posible to estrafy it with a combonation of glacial acedic acid and H2SO4 & heat as a catalyst. This hypothetical RXN should be anhydrous too.

The alph-hydroxy group on ephedrines can be estrafied in this way, so I suspect that it should work for morphine too.
