In the nano recipe it tells you to pour the lighter fluid into a clean test tube. then it tells you to add the dh2o and four drops of muriatic acid. SWIM is at this crucial step, and wants to know which of the two does SWIM add the dh2o and muriatic acid to, the lighter fluid, or the fluid that SWIM just took the lighter fluid out of. (the fluid with the lye on the bottom of the two layers). SWIM told me it is written as though the lighter fluid gets it. But somebody else thinks it is the two layer test tube that gets the distilled water and m-acid.......HELP SWIM

you should really understand how something like this works before you try it. set the water/lye mixture aside and do another pull on it later. you want to drip the muriatic into the test tube with the lighter fluid and d-h20.

and dont put anything like "answer this NOW" in the title of the topic, it makes you look like a dick, nobody owes you shit, and they will answer it when they are good and ready.

AM, by nature, I am the least likely to be called a Dick, so I guess I forget sometimes about etiquette in certain situations. the only reason I said now is because SWIM was in the process and needed some help. SWIM didnt know how long he had. Sorry about the rudeness. after careful scruteny, SWIM figured out that the lighter fluid tube was the right one, and SWIM had fun the rest of the night. In fact, SWIM is still up off of about .6g of great meth. SWIM made notes on what took place, and he didnt get a clear yellowish liquid, he got a brownish redish liquid. Maybe SWIM should clean Iodine crystals a bit more thouroughly. You are right AM, SWIM needs to learn how these things work, and this is the best way, trial and error. Books are only good for so much, so long as you understand and learn the basics and dont blow yerself up! Thanks for the answer AM.
