This can be easily and virtually safely stored in Colemans / generic Petrolium Ether. AKA White Fuel. SWILT has successfully stored in Ether left over from an anhydrus batch.

Do not expose to water, It will ignite and you will see fireworks. Lithium will react violently with water/lye and moist air. after reaction it turnes blue/white and becomes brittle. Then it is spent.
