After the waterless A/B, the pfed/Mineral spirit/HCL mix seems to take forever to vap off. Will any yeild loss occur if a gentle (40c) heatis added?

SWIL believes gentle heated evaps are safe. Special care should be taken with TETRA washed gear though. The wash tends to leave the Phed in a fragile state.

In SWIM's case, SWIL believes 40 c won't do any harm. That heat is equivalent to a low wattage light bulb.

The whole thing about tetra and fragile pfed molecule is unsubstantiated. I respect ware, but I cannot agree with theories about evaporation of pfed. Swigotta has tried to get the damn stuff to evaporate before, many times at many temperatures, and found it very difficult to get it to happen.

So, according to what Swigotta has found, I gotta say don't worry about it. Heat the shit up.

usually yeild lose doesn't occur in evaporation but it does however occur in gassin so becareful =)

i had a dream where i used a lighter adapter...and plugged a light into my car then stuck the jar on it and it rolled perfectly for almost 2 hours then i filtered and gassed off...in my dream i was tweaking like a mother fucker 1/4 paper would make your head spin =) and when i say spin shooooo....you could always use a droplight aswell they work good =)...never and i repeat never use a flame or stove type gas....
