Guys, a noob on here but trying to learn more. Swim has a question about extracting/cleaning ephedrine. On rhodium, IDEA and E-gull method refer to dry matrix as having HPMC and MCC and the Non dry does not have any qualifiers--just most not extended release.. Does this lead Swim to assume that dull 30's and white antihis 60's are DMF?? Also, can TCE be used on post NP-cleaned pfed?? If so, do any other washes need to be done?? Just looking for some help guys.. Preferable someone BESIDES the "mighty" one or associates, lol. Swim is not total idiot but doesn't want to waste time/money unnecessarily. Thanx for the help...

Also, swim wanted to know about length of time in alky... Some say 12 hours, some say not over 3? What is the correct time to not bring any GAAK?

I am also a noob however, I have in the past two weeks, been cleaning/extracting phed. I have used Acetone, IsoHEET, and HEET. Since I am not a chemhead, I dont know if this will answer your question, but from my limited experience, 3-4 hours is plenty, so long as you provide some agitation to the phed and solution, either stirring with glass rod, or swirling the container around. Do this once every half hour or so. Also, it is best to grind up the pills using a coffee bean grinder. As for the liquid used, the regular HEET has provided me with the best phed base. The regular HEET (Yellow bottle with blue/yellow label) is Methyl Alchohol as opposed to the Iso HEET which is Isopropyl Alc. Hope this helps
