Is there an alternative to Anhydrous Ammonia using the Nazi recipe? I tried Freon R-134a and it didnt do anything to the Lithium Strips. Now this is all in a dream I had last night, so details will be sketchy. In my dream, I punctured the R-134a (2 12 ounce bottles) and emptied the liquid into a container. I put a Lithium strip into it, with no results. Does anybody know what else can be used to melt the lithium strips? I must admit that the Lithium has been outside the battery for about a minute...is this a problem? How can you get the Lithium extracted from the battery yet keep it fresh? (It turns from silver to charcoal grey after a while). Thanks for all your help because this dream has been keeping me from staying up all night. LOL With a little help here, I can actually insert into my dream the right information!!!

OK, based on the dream I had, there was a recipe which called for Anhydrous Ammonia to "melt" the Lithium strips which I farmed from Duracell and Energizer E2 camera batteries. In order to farm the Lithium strips, you must first remove the plastic cover which holds two cells. Both cells are encased in what looks like some sort of rolled steel. As soon as I get just the slightest hole in the top of the casing, (positive end of cell), I get this hissing sound, with bubbling liquid. Not much liquid, but alot of bubbling and hissing. The cell gets so hot that the oven mit I use to hold it cannot entirely shield me from the heat. Is there a better way to farm Lithium strips? Does the Lithium become useless after too much contact with the atmosphere? Oh and thanks for directing me to this forum! It has been great help!

dude freon will work but you still gotta add stuff to it to make annie anyways...the best method is to get a gas tank then buy 2 bottles of red devil lye also get you some nh4 fertilizer from a hardware store use about a cup and half maybe 2 cups then pour in 1 bottle of lye and 1 bottle full of water in the lye container close the gas tank and in about5 mins it will get hot....dude use about 10 lbs of dry ice in a cooler take the aquarium hose and attach it to the gas tank to the cooler then the bottle left in the cooler of ice will have liquid in it after 45 mins that will be your annie and will melt strips instantly

do this and you waste your time. and freon wont work . and just dry ice wont get cold enough. two cups of nitrate to a can of lye and a can of water . like i said dont waste your time or money on this
