alcohol and still.
I've read some posts here on totse that claim the amount of methanol produced in the initial fermentation process is near non-existent, or is negligible.
From my understanding, the still is just used to concentrate the alcohol. In that case, couldn't you simply dump the contents of your fermentation container (no idea what to call it) through a charcoal filter and drink the low alcohol liquid? What would it taste like?
peace out.

Re: alcohol and still.
This is the basic premis of fermentation, drinking the undistilled filtered liquid.
As for how it tastes it will depend on what you use as feedstock in the fermentation chamber. If you use grapes you get wine if you use honey you get mead tasting stuff if you use crap you will get crappy tasting stuff.

Re: alcohol and still.
It tastes something like cheap vodka with moldy bread and sand in it. Also, you will be wasting a lot of activated carbon.
