BTW thats an accomplishment on water, lots of drag, lots of lost power in the outdrive. Been about 80 in an old Checkmate though. Almost forgot about it, started chimewalking at 70.

oh and the motor is a 572 cubic inch big block chevy all aluminum, 13.5 to 1 compression 15to1 hi-helix blower with an enderle buzzard hat. it is hat and port injected on methanol alcohol. lenco 4 speed tranny. little easier to believe now?? if not i dont give a fuck lol my work speaks for itself and im well known for what i do in the areas i do it in.

you are right. most people on here know me and know of my projects so i guess i jumped the gun a little on that one. the topic just said "whats the fastest you went" so i assumed it was about anything and everything lol i apologize if i came off assholish. your benz sounds awesome. i like a bangin stereo thats for sure. in the trans-am you wouldnt hear any stereo over the motor, but i guess it dont matter since it only runs 6 seconds at a time. one thing for sure, i cant say nothing about other peoples fuel guzzlers since most of the shit i have built burns huge amounts of fuel lol

I'm still a ripe driver, but last week on the way home from kelowna, I did raise the bar and get to 135 KPH... keep in mind that it's old and tired.

I go over to Japan a lot, cause I do a lot of car testing and such and in Japan the big race is the 0-300(km/h)

Anyways we took a Skyline rated at 1147hp and 1098 lb/ft of torque on the dyno, and fiddled with the gear ratios to produce the highest top speed we could.

Mind you, with these screwed up gear ratios we got a quater mile in a pathetic 24 seconds, but we smacked 280.75mph on its ass.

i still have my permit (issued in aug 2003), and i went 90 in a (1999,2000,2001 can't remember) honda accord coupe, 3.2l... yes 3.2l accord do exist they are just very rare. my dad didn't know it wntil 8 months after he bought it.

however i have gone about 240 kph, about 150 mph i think foe a steady hour and a half. bad part i wasn't driving . it was a benz 320 coupe (2000 or 2001)

I wasn't driving during this, but i was hooked up with a ride through a friend.

It was a semi-raceprepped mercedes GTR1. Remember the car that flipped at le mans? Well ya it was one of those that a friend of a friend of a friend ownes. He took me on a lap one day when he and some other disgustingly rich friends rented the local road course. The thing doesn't have a speedo but the telemtry download in the pits said 207mph and i believe it. I was actually frightened out of my wits. He was going around corners probably twice what the laws of physics would allow it seemed

The fastest I've ever gone is around 105 mph in a 99 Chevy Prizm. It starts accellerating fast again once you get past 90.

Around 198kph in my friend's Acclaim Turbo, at 2:30 in the morning through the center of town and all the lights green. What a Rush.

i have gone somewhere in the neighborhood of 105-115 mph in my 83 Pontiac T1000 (Pontiac version of a chevette) now that is impressive mostly because the thing only has a puny 1.6 liter 4 cylinder engine in it and takes about 20-30 seconds to 0-60.

edit: not exactly sure of the speed because the speedometer only goes up to 85 but I know I was going at least 100

I've been in a car that was clocked doing 157mph though... many years ago when my father was still alive he was a State Police officer, and we live in Speedway, IN... racing capital fo the world... and the Hullmans let the state police run some of the squad cars on the track one time... my dad was lucky enough to get to do it and he took me with him... that was the single greatest moment of my life... it would have been even if we were only doing 5mph... just because we were driving on the track... 174 MPH in a Blue 1968 Farrari Daytona. I did this in York Place in Edinburgh going through 3 red lights.(It was 3.00am)



And 205 MPH in my friends Ferrari Enzo in Italy on the motorway. There was a speed cam but it didnt flash, I think I was to fast for it!!!

747 pretty damn fast, don't quite know the numbers

UH1, CH46, CH53 all pretty quick, once again I don't know the numbers. Probably 130-180 mph

96 CBR 900 160 mph, hit a big ass bug that scratched my face shield up pretty bad and made alot of noise.

91 Dodge Daytona v6 3.0 and a bunch of little goodies went over 140mph, speedometer only hit 140. Redline was at 6100 rpm and 140 was about 5700, so I'm guessing around 150.

I also hit 120 mph or something around that skydiving.

105mph in a 1999 V-6 accord coupe, the thing sucked, super loose steering, it was oscilating like mad,

124-125mph in my sl2, a couple of mods, nothing to make it run super, best thing i ever did was go for lo-pro's

130mph in a 2002 trailblazer, hate the thing, it has super disconnected steering, i feel like i am sitting on top of the car, so i didn't top it out, supposedly a trailblazer wil break 150 but i doubt it
