I get there, kid is taped to a pole and freaking out
Me: 453 to hull control 22:45 having out with the party please have rescue 1 and engine 1 respond for a medical

that sounds way more interesting than listening to the emergancy channels here..
it can be especially entertaining when you hear the police being dispatched to your apt building for an assault inprogress
My favorite is listening to the asian dude chatting it up with his wife on our repeater when he hasn't payed.. I should tie up the channel next time he uses it

toraton and I, as well as our roomie, sean all carry walkie talkies at work (toys r us) We want to do the:
"I'm taking these prisoners to Coruscant"
"Errr... Where-are-you-taking-them?"
"To Coruscant!"
"Uhhh, that does not compute! You're under arrest!"
Sean, when asked to do anything over the walkie, responds with the droid "roger roger"
It makes me laugh that we are such geeks.
