Dig up an old ARRL handbook. There will be something of that sort in there.

I surely would that with pleasure but the thing is that I don’t have one.
And don’t suggest me to buy one because it would be impossible.
Why is it so hard to find the schematics of a 27MHz AM receiver?

That's why I asked.
What are you trying to pick up on 27 MHz, specifically?

I'm no pro, but I play with RC cars. Some receivers are 27mhz. If something transmitted at 27mhz the cars would glitch like crazy, but they don't.

I din't know that.
I have the schematics of a 27MHz AM transmitter. A nd in the description it says that with it you can transmit to any CB user.

Re: 27 MHz AM receiver
Yeah, CB's are on 27mhz (http://www.popularwireless.com/cbweb/cbtable.html), but normally people ask for a specific thing.
Basic AM receiver. (http://www.electronics-tutorials.com/receivers/receiver-basics.htm)
