Seen it elsewhere also, so is it real or just a little "fictional"? I know there getting a little crazy with the banning everything over there, but if its real, then this is a little overboard.

Yes, rocks were banned. Anyone caught touching a rock will be faced with severe criminal pentalties and/or prison.
You will need a special permit to look at rocks, or even enter a shop selling rocks.
Illegal manufacturing of rocks can get you life in prison.
No, they didn't ban rocks. How the fuck would you ban rocks?

Well in the UK if you pick up a rock near say a police cordon, you can be arrested for carrying an offensive weapon.

From July, anyone found possessing or selling a rock without a permit will face up to six months' jail and fines of up to $12,000.
lol, only if what they're slangin is a CRACK rock.
Existing rock owners must surrender their weapons to police, sell them to a licensed dealer or apply to the Chief Commissioner for specific approval
That is one of the the dumbest bans I have ever heard of. I'm not saying its not true, but its pretty fucking stupid if you ask me.

Does no one realize this is a parody on a different weapon ban in Australia?(they baned swords I think unless that too was a joke) Although with the way that country is going I wouldn't be surprised to see a rock ban soon.

You are so fucking stupid its unbeleivable.
Yeh, they banned rocks.
Yeh, australia's really going crazy with banning everything just because people require a licence to own a gun.
And no, swords are not banned.
You just need an A-class licence to own a BB Gun and other licences for real guns, full fucking stop.
And no, GTA3 was not banned, it was taken off the shelves for a short period of time on order to fix faults with the australasian edition, and it was also required to take out the prostitute feature where you pick up prossis and shag them in your car.

god shutup.. thats bullshit. You can't ban rocks because they're a potential weapon. Most anything is a potention weapon.

Re: Rocks Banned In Australia? Is this true or gibberydoo?
Everything is a potential weapon. I can use the keys I'm pressing right now to choke and kill someone by ramming them down their throat. I can drop this monitor I'm looking at right now on someone's head, then pick up a piece of glass and slit their throat and wrists, then stab them in the heart.

But according to the other side, firearms only have one purpose and that is to kill people right? ::SIGH::

You could roll up a magazine page really tight, get it wet, then roll it in more pages. Eventually you could make a club that you could knock someone out with, so are they going to ban magazines too?

They will ban Swim suit porn first. Then hardcore. Then moser. Then tittie movies. Then lotion.

Re: Rocks Banned In Australia? Is this true or gibberydoo?
yeah. 12 people died in australia from shootings.
24000 died in the usa...
this was in the early 90's...
which would you prefer? seriously.
unless you like carnage.
they banned fireworks in all of australia from 31st of march 2004, which i personally think sucks more than the gun laws...
dont know about the rock thing though.

24,000 huh? Cite your sources please.
With a murder rate of 9 to 100,000 (2003 World Report) in Austrailia and a population of 19,731,984 (2003 est) what you have to say hasn't been said before.
