I love the series personally(Which is quite odd for me, the mecha-hater), but Funimation fucked up the dub and DVD's almost as badly as they did Dragonball.

As for the first two episodes, they just explain how Yuji got to be in his current situation, followed by a blue attack and the deaths of a dozen or so minor characters sent to collect him.

Attempts to download will yeild fairly fruitless results. It took me weeks just to find episode 26(which I missed three times on Scifi). But Kazaa is still shit. For anime, get Direct Connect.

I really didn't get into Blue Gender. I saw up to about episode 15 on SciFi then got sick of it. Perhaps the sub is better.

I watched the first ten minutes on AS, it was too horrible to continue.
