since the PRRT is fucked right now, I decided to make a new thread to brag about the two round bottom boiling flasks I bought. BOTH pyrex glass, and I paid a total of $16 for a 1000ml and a 500ml flask. That's for BOTH of them.

I was going to buy a few erlynmeyers that attach to my distillation set, but now because of where i live the shipping is more than the cost of the glassware. Dosn't that suck? So i'm still thinking about it...

Heh. While we're bragging I was able to have my choice at almost every type of organics/regular glassware about a month back. Literally, a lab in the area had unloaded ALL of there old glassware for my school's chem. department and me old teacher, being the badass she is, let me have my choice at anything I wanted if I helped her organize and put the rest in the chem's stock room.

Literally walked away with two boxes of expensive ass glassware. 25, 50, 100, 500, 1000 mL volmetrics, a few EM flasks, a few round bottoms, a graham condenser, sep funnels (2), various small organic things, and some reg. things like beakers/test tubes/etc. I took only one of anything I wanted and didn't take stuff just to take it as I would rather someone actually get good use out of it. =)

Needless to say I was one happy boy and they still had PLENTY of glassware left. In fact, they ended up giving the rest to a local university where my teacher had gone because it was so excessive.



Some of the stuff in those boxes my teacher didn't even know what it was it was so exotic and she has a PHD in organic chemistry LOL.

I stole all my labware from chem class so go suck a big fatslimy cock. I also got one of those 1000 ml flasks for my distiller.
