What would the police do if they found a scale, ball mill, and black powder and/or pyrotechnics chemicals.

Would they only confiscate(sp?) them?

Or would they try to press charges or something.

Depends on how much of each and how respectful you are towards the cops.

Lets say you're very polite and you use the tips from the thread,

"What To Do If The Fuzz Comes A-Knockin"

NOt over polite, like asking them to stay for lunch or w/e, but not arrogant either.

Half the cops in the US wouldnt know what any of that is used for. You could probably get away with saying they are ingredients for a cake.

You might be safer to print out a lot of rocket formulas that require the chems that you use and have them on the walls of your work area.

also black powder isn't illegal, u could tell them you didn't feel like paying for it at the gunshop so u made ur own

Thats pretty funny. I would have never thought to ask them to stay for lunch...Oh coarse the 3 times they have come 2 was at night. I got them some hot tea one time while we chatted. But that was it.

I'm from CA too. Okay if police do come over they have no right to search your house without a warrant. Forth amemdment says "No unreasonable searches or seizures". Although explaining this to them may piss them off my suggestion is be polite and kindly explain it to them then they will go away. That will give you time to clean up in case they will come again. I know its alot tougher on pyros here in CA. But if your careful then your at lower risk.

Yes, but then they will come in force and raid your entire house... as opposed to two clueless guys checking out obvious places in your room.
