BP question?
i am going to be making black powder, but what kind regular or sulferless?
which one is better for salutes, pros and cons.
is blasting powder just regular black powder.

Definatly make the sulfer BP. It burns hotter, and just as fast as sulferless BP.
Blasting powder and BP are the same thing.

i agree with ICP make regular BP ... and make sure your run it throught the corning process...
run it through the mill mixing all the chems well then press it and then break the pucks and mill it and repeat a couple of times i find it produce a much better black powder

i am not fimilaiar with the corning process, what is it.
and what's all this about breaking pucks up and milling it again

Corning is basicly another word for granulating. I dont see the need for going through that extra step, about ball milling the alredy corned BP, if you want better mixed BP why not just leave it running in the mill a little longer in the first place?
