Re: Starter Kit
For mesh nets, look under fabric vs steel screens (the topic that is). I bought fabric printing screens with a 110 and 200 mesh count and they work awesome. Go here for them http://zim-intl.com/screen/screens-tools.htm They have 390 mesh screens with aluminum boarders, but that is as high as they go. If you want extremely fine mesh, go here http://www.twpinc.com/twp/jsp/product.jsp?type=10 They have mesh nets all the way up to 635. It is going to cost you though, $171.00 a square foot, I'd recommend not going any higher than 400 though, any higher than that and I think everything will float away when you are trying to sift it through.

Re: Starter Kit
Many thanks for the replies, Those fabric screens look nice too. Whereabouts do most of you purchase your more "exotic" chemicals, such as perchorates and the such, is there a good chemical supplier website that I should look into?

Re: Starter Kit
I've actually found Unitednuclear.com and it seems like good prices (8 bucks for a pound of potassium nitrate) and was just wondering what some peoples experiences were with Unitednuclear.com. Like, are they good, do they ship promtly, is there product crap, things like that, much feedback would be helpful

You should try www.pyrotek.org (http://www.pyrotek.org) or www.pyrostuff.com. (http://www.pyrostuff.com.) Pyrotek has a wider selection, but Pyrostuff has better prices. If you need fuse, try www.cannonfuse.com. (http://www.cannonfuse.com.)

Re: Starter Kit
OK although United Nuclear has good prices on most of their chemicals...If u are planning on getting ALOT of Potassium Nitrate go to http://www.cropking.com/pages/Nutrients/FER3012.shtml seriously I bet they have some of the best prices you can get unless u live in canada which I do...they only will ship hazordous things like potassium nitrate throughout the US. So there ya go 50LB's for $18.00.

Re: Starter Kit
I've noticed that at cannonfuse.com, the visco fuse costs more than the chinese fuse. I was wondering if I should go with the visco fuse or if the chinese fuse is good enough for BP and flash powder firecrackers.

Re: Starter Kit
Visco is for salutes and time fuse is for aerials and other stuff that shoots up into the air.
