Ball Mill Question
After I mill all the chems down to a powder, is it safe to remove the lead balls and put the powder in the container and run it for 10-15 mins to mix it or would that run the risk of generating static electricity and blowing the load (for lack of a better term)??

Re: Ball Mill Question
Thanks, I'll mix BP in it from now on. I was also wondering for things like flash powder and some other misc. powders, like, could someone list things I CAN'T mix in the ball mill so I know I'll likely blow shit up if I do??

Re: Ball Mill Question
You NEVER mill anything besides blackpowder (or different ratios of the chems in blackpowder). Nearly every other composition is too dangerous for milling, especially flash powder!
Besides blackpowder, mills are for grinding individual chemicals to powder, but NOT mixtures that could ignite/explode.

Re: Ball Mill Question
I wasn't talking about actualling milling the flash powder with the media in the thing, just running it through just to mix it, not to grind it.

Re: Ball Mill Question
Without the balls it should be safe to mix it that way, but I wouldn't risk mixing anything more sensitive than that in an empty mill.
