My first was just a small ping pong smoke bomb!! WOW huh!!lol but i have gotten to better things

The first thing I ever made was gelled gasoline...using the egg white technique in the Improvised Munitions Handbook...Now I make my napalm out of gas and styrofoam cuz its easier and a great way to get rid of the shit, but I still think my first batch of the egg white stuff worked the best.

I tried making that pen bomb once. Cept I didn't use strike-anywhere matches, and I used the powder from fire works.

My first real pyro 'thing' was what I call now A ping pong ball flare genitalwarefare/halifax and I took ping pong balls, cut a small hole in em and filled them with match heads with one sticking out of the top as one hell of a crude fuse. A couple lit fast enough to throw match heads every where which was sorta fun. I still have A spot where no hair will grow because I got hit with a group of matchheads.

My first device I made was a bottle salute.

My first was about 30 years ago. I took an empty pimento jar (12oz) and filled it with BP. I drove a nail through the lid and inserted a pen barrel into the lid. I dug a hole about a foot deep, inserted a scotch tape/black powder fuse into the pen barrel, wrapped the whole thing in electrical tape and buried it. I lit the fuse and took off. It made a 1 foot deep x 3 foot wide crater and more or less sounded like a bomb going off. The ground shook and everything. -Rod-

crap your old, my first thing was maybe 3 bottle rockets taped together, i was about 8 or 9.

my first i didnt actually make, I was blasting boulders with my father on our farm/station with gelagnite and me and him at the end of the day put about 8 or so sticks of it taped together in an old car boot. heheh made shit fly every where. my first home made thing was just a salute made from BP.

Well, I started out working with neutron induced chain-reaction explosions, which was then later related to the critical mass of fissionable materials. This was a tough point in my life because I/we couldn't figure out how to sustain the reaction at a constant level. I, then, with the help of several lab partners, had recieved several large (one half - one pound) samples of U-235 (natural), but then realized that the material could not, by itself, hold a sustaining reaction as easily as U-238 could have, but I still had to use the 235. After a few months, I/we decided to go for it, and a partner got around 300 lbs. of 235. There was a deadline brought to me, so I had to turn the 235 into 25% enriched 235, irradiated, produced by electromagnetic seperation. I really can't get into the details, but we finally ended up detonating 108 tons of Comp. B, while standing about 3025 ft. away. That is my basic starting point.

Yea, I'm sure. Anyway, the first thing I made was a film canister salute made with flash powder and fused with about 6 inches of the crappy paper fuses.

the first real explosive was when i filled a ibc root beer bottle half way full with bp and lit it(i dropped a lit piece of paper inside it) when i was 2 steps away

God damn I remember my first device... it was one of thise shitty "cherry bombs" that calls for a pingpong ball instead of a decent casing. I lit it and was sure the thing wouldn't go off so I stood like 2 feet away, scared the shit out of me

Btw: did it in my garage.

Went over to a friends house and his bro in into amature pyrotechnics n'stuff, anyways. We mixed some sulfer, aluminium, and potassium perchlorate. We used the "Anarchists Cookbook" because thats all he had, oh yeah great fun... We wraped it in filter paper (the kind for coffee) and set it on an electric burner, inside the house. Well lets just say we both had to talk loudly for a few hours after that.

The first bomb I made was actually a bomb/gun it was a bod spray can in a large water bottle filled with mach heads and gun powder a candle wick and a whole lotta fear I lit it on fire through it in a corn feild and presto... or boom.

i would like to pressurize a 50 galloin drum with Oyxgen and acetilyne (sp?) and have some sort of wirless ignition system .... or just a length of cord either way you would need a descent spark but it would be fun..



and another one would be detonating some ANFO perferiably a 50 gallon drum also in the middle of the desert .. but i would have to more then likly build some form of sandbag bunker a ways away or possibly a cement test bunker



(i have friends in the concreting bussiness so i was thinking of maybe building a below ground bunker so that you walk down fiv cement steps you got the foundation then the bunker above ground)

Much like the bunkers in the first lvl of golden eye 007 for n-64 ...

from what i read on acetilene (spelling is worng i know) you don't want to pressurize it with oxygen so possibly a shaped charge around the two pressurized canisters ? along with some sort of long burning incineration device or somthing to ignite the mix lol ... i dunno just random idea's

If you try the oxy/acetaline drum, make sure not to put it under any pressure. If the gas is under any more than 15 pounds per square inch, it will explode.

Them metal marker pens filled with smokeless and ignited with a sparkler fuse, they never worked but simply shot the gasses out the end. Until i figued out that if a BB is placed in the tube it will be pushed down into the neck when its burnng, sealing it and causing it to explode (pen be placed upside down for it to work).

My first dabble was when I dismantled some dud fireworks and lit (with a match) the contents on a dinner plate in my kitchen.

Suffice to say the plate cracked, the kitchen was packed with fumes and smoke and the smell remained for three days.

Parents were NOT amused lol.

ohnyeah i forgot, i tried making a bomb out of a stick of chewing gum, metal wire, and baking soda. lol it didn't work, damn you macgyver, damn you.

i made a cool first explosive a co2 half fole of matchheads and the rest full of sparkler dust. it worked perfect, it looked like a fountain for about a min. then blew up louder than eney co2 bomb ive ever made.
