Default Real cherry bombs.

I have ordered some sodium silicate (opposed to wood glue) off pyrotek.org and I want to make some classic cherry bombs. Can anyone point me toward a web site that can show me how to make them.

Thanks.

There is some good info here:

My opinion of cherry bombs has always been that they are more trouble than they are worth. You spend about 50 times longer making them and they are no better than a cardboard tube with the same powder.

This may not be the best way but take a tennis ball, cut a slit into it, put in gun power, then insert what ever you want to use as a fuse, then duck tape it all up really tight, light throw and get away from it

Big safety issue here. Set device on solid surface(like the ground), light fuse, and retreat to safe distance. A tennis ball sized flash salute could easily take your entire arm off, and maybe more.

All it takes is one error in judgement to severely hurt, or kill you, or worse, others.

If you've ever made a big salute using 70/30 you'd know I speak the truth. I have made some 2 gram salutes that would easily remove your hand to the wrist. No one wants the nickname Stumpy. Particularly when it's easily avoided by ALWAYS practicing safety with ALL your pyrotechnics.

A 4 gram salute blew off the top to a school desk... and it was screwed on with 4 inch long screws with bolts at the ends.

I think a 40 gram tennis ball bomb could take off ur whole upper portion of ur body.
