Do any of you know where I could get a good paintball gun, or a good brand to look for? I'd appreciate any help.

What do this have to do with backyard ballistics?

Grrrrrrrr This has no relevence in this section. There are plenty of other fourms out there on the net to ask this question. Just do a search on Google for paintball fourms you will get tons and go aske there if your nice then they will probably recomend some good Markers to yaz (markers=paintball gun.)

I don't know much about paintbal guns but i do know this:

Now how would you describe a paintball gun, which uses compressed gas to launch a paintball, a "pnuematic gun" perhaps?

Furthermore, paintball guns shoot a projectile. Ballistics relate to moving projectiles. Paintball can be played in a large backyard. Couldn't this equate to "Backyard Ballistics"?

Thank you! It seems like everyone has forgotten what "ballistics" really means. Since no ones about actual ballistics in the ballistics forum, will one of you mods be so nice as to move this thread to weapons and combat?

If you want a good gun to start off with, you could try goin with a Tippmann (i think thats the way you spell it) 98c or some type of Kingman Spyder gun (don't know too much about those ones). I just got into paintball and the Tippmann was a good gun for a cheap price...its also really customizable and shit so you can use it for a long time without "falling behind." The first thing you might wanna do is to upgrade the barrel because the stock barrel is not so good...I got a smartparts 14" teardrop for about 40-45 bucks. If you have a lot of money you can go all out and get an autococker or somethin but it would look kinda stupid to have a novice player runnin around with one of those things...hope i helped at all.

Well I used to be really into paintball. My first gun was a Tippman Model 98 and I love it...I still have it. The only thing that happened to it is that the elbow pin broke so I need to replace it. But as a first gun...Tippman Model 98, Tippman Pro-lite, Spyder, or even a Raptor from Wal-Mart. Though there are more those are what I thought of off the top of my head. Hope some of this helped.

If ur a noob to paintball menaing u hardly play then i wouldnt get a very expensive gun.i got an ANgel wich is a 1000 gun but my first gun was a tippmann dont get a brand like brasseagle but a good gun to go with is a tippman 98 they shoot fast so u need an eltronic hopper
