What would happen if I encased an explosive in concrete?
Nothing huge, maybe a cob, maybe a large salute, something like that. What would happen if I took something like that and encased it in concrete? Would it be a lot louder? I know there would be more shrapnel, I'd have to accomodate for the fuse, it would be a lot of work for a salute, etc, but I'm fine with that. Has anyone ever done something like this?

Re: What would happen if I encased an explosive in concrete?
I havent done it,but all I think it would do is
crack a cinder block, minimum or not at all,but the most is it'll blow the hell up,If I can remember in krimson pyro I think maybe ratman did a experement with a c0b and a cinder block
for enclosement but you better check.

It also depends on the size of the explosive. If you used some type of HE it would probably blow the hell up. But if you used some sort of LE at most it would crack and release some smoke. That's what I think anyway.

break the neck off a beer bottle fill it 3/4 w/cement wait 10 min for it to dry a little and push your cob in evenly then u can break the bottle off and light it or just light it w/the bottle still around it. as long as you make your cob well it should b extremely loud and powerful

Re: What would happen if I encased an explosive in concrete?
Zero did somthing liek this he made what he called the M-5000 it was modeled after the illegal firework homer simpson of the simpsons purchased off apu for July 4th and blew up neds dish washer because he couldned find a lighter so he lit it on the stove but could make it outside jamed it in there
any way it was a coffee can with an inch of cement on each side with a large flash salute in the middle i beleave he used a straw ofer top of the fuse to not get it wet and then filled the rest
the stronger the casing the more power to burst the cement depending on the thickness of the cement depends on how big the salute would have to be i have made cobs with flash and visco and incased them in cement with a homade cast out of an old soup can and then threw them in the lake (a version of fishing with dynomite lol) it can be louder but depends on the thickness of the cement to the comp that is used
