Well this is it, folks. I'm done with this hobby. Long story short, a soda bottle salute ended up with my friends questioned and me in the back of a patrol car. They say it's a pipe bomb, and while it was a metal ("Rain" cactus drink from Snapple or something) bottle, I disagree. It should be obvious to any ATF agent that this is not a device designed to hurt anyone. I don't know if I'll get my video camera, though I got my cell phone and watch back. So I'm back home, and I'm quitting pyrotechnics. I wonder if this happened to Zero. The person I trust most here is Rat, so I'll email him in a few minutes about stuff. The bottom line is that I'll no longer be posting or moderating here. Any of you may contact me about anything except pyrotechnics. I don't really want sympathy, this is a risk we all take. I shall not return to the forums. As for my future, I'll be contacted or arrested by the ATF, there is no way I can get out of this one. In order to prevent anyone except me to use my account, I will immediately have it closed if that is at all possible. EP, Rat, and Smokey, it's up to you to keep this board running smoothly. Sorry if this is disorganized, I'm not in a thinking mood. I will send what I've written about the Ka-Fucking-Boom section to Jeff and JC. I'll also send my partial update to Rat, and I hope he will put it up. The tiny ass amount of media and the text I have written is now public and may be used or reproduced by anyone, so long as no one uses it in a destructive manner. That's all I have to say, goodbye.

Wow... that is kinda how the chain usually goes eh? I have had some replys from you in the past and i thank you for that. Eventhough i didn't know you on a friend level i still understand what your saying. My friends got questioned and i too ended up arrested in the back of a police car. My friends stuck a piece of paper into a suana and someone said we were trying to burn the building down(small smoke made from paper). I tried to protect my friends by saying we didn't do it but they blamed it on me.

Sorry to hear about that, David. Anyway, I'm pretty sure you won't be able to stay far from the pyrotehnics for long. You're just under the impression of the moment, probably because it is the first time you experience trouble from pyro stuff. I almost destroyed my right hand in a stupid accident but this won't keep me from enjoying pyrotechnics. You'll feel the same, after a while, I'm pretty sure about. You can't just quit this as it is an old pair of jeans!!!...Only because you got in trouble now. Of course, there may be some bad times ahead for you, but keep your head up and some day you'll know better what you want to do with your life.

I don't post much in the BB section, although I do read just about every thread. The only thing that has stopped me from getting more involved (until now) was my inability to get chemicals, not being an adult or being able to order off the web (I'm in Canada). Dave was a great mod. He was knowlegable, clearly not immature, and was still mostly polite in his posts aimed at k3wls. I would of posted many questions by now, but there was always a good awnser to any question if I was willing to search for it. Thanks, Dave.

thats what im doing as soon as my conditional discharge is in effect (5 months) then i will be applying for my class 1 pyrotechnic operators licensing then after i get 2200 hours with that i can take my course and apply for my manufactures licence

In case you didn't noticed, guys, his FRIENDS were questioned and perhaps they talked about his activities...Rememeber, the cops ALWAYS ask your friends, your colleagues, etc. etc. about your life&activity...So keep a low profile and show your work only to those you really trust...and teach them some "stories" to tell in case of trouble, as keeping the mouth shut isn't always the best strategy. Cops want to hear something, just make sure they won't get anything to hang the man. OK?

I hope that your life, as it happens in the future, comes out very sucessfully and gracious. Now that Marching Band Practice has started, maybe I can get someone tape us playing taps... and maybe I can get our team to shape the letters DTP...

I hope the government treats you fairly, or I will have to start another group of people who write hand-written letters to the ATF, like I did for the Patent Office when they wouldn't let me view an expired patent.
