i mixed 100 ml h2o2 (6%) , 75 ml mek , 25 ml concetrated hydrochloric acid and i got mekp . and now the question- how stable is it ?, is there a way to stabilize it ( not mixing it with ammonium nitrate ) ? i want to make something like a "dynamite" explosive out of it, but i don't know how. can somebody help me ? ______thanks

Well, it needs a small shockwave to kinda detonate the MEKP, so you can use a fuse that goes about 1/10 way into the MEKP, and the other 9/10 being a Kno3 fuse(kno3 coated over a string). I don't know if it works though, just an idea i've been thinking of.

Does KNO3 fuse explode as it burns, then? :/

Try a COB full of AP. Be careful. Use lots of static guard, and keep it grounded while filling...

last time i detonated MEKP i only had a string soaked in petroleum ,it was 20 cm long and burned about a minute and then detoneted it .

please tell me that you have more sense than this. This is something that I would regard as... STUPID. why did you not just make a fast match fuse or something that burns rather fast with a solid rate. I mean jesus, it would not have been that hard just to get some visco would it.

I implore you on your next escapade to try something a little more reliable in the "burning process"

i didn't want to detonate it , i wanted just to show it to my friend , however we did it. i don't now , that was the first what we found . but , yes i agree , it was stupid.

It won't burn, because the kno3 fuse just sucks as a regular fuse, but in this case with MEKP, it serves a good purpose. Or maybe just filling a straw with kno3 and poking little holes in it to keep it saturated in the MEKP would be better.
