all right here are some pics i have gotten over the past 2 weeks.enjoy.
the big salute it is 7 1/4in long and around 3/4in inside diameter. the tube is paper and was really hard, i couldn't bend it between my fingers. very hard. it was from one of those killer bee fountains. i then added about 7 layers of duct tape and 3 layers of strapping tape (good cloth fibres). i taped it real tight. the comp. is whistle mix about 1/4 cup of it. that be alot. 1/4in hot glue endplugs. and about 6in visco fuse i will add a 4in match fuse for longer delay. i put 2 books of match head around the fuse to insure egnition(sp). i will light it some time this year

Blown end plugs this was a hastily prepared salute using match powder and whistle mix. the plugs were wads of craft paper rammed in there hard. it blew them out.

this was the remains of a bottle blaster i made. i used whisle mix once again filled half full and for more bang i put about 2-3coats of plastic cement. let it dry added a total of 4 layers of tape. i light it and put it under an old blue metal dish. i put a big rock on top to muffle sound. it did not muffle to well when that thing went off it shook things up. the last shot the rock 3feet away from the pan. the pan shot towards me and it had a big dent. my mom came out and yelled at me. fun stuff.
this is all i could salvage.

those are the remains of cob the 2nd. the le was smokless powder filled to the brim with visco added. i did do somthing stupid thou. i taped abou 10 screw and some nails around the cob. to see the effects it would do. i put it in a wooden chest about 1/4in thick wood. it was made in the 50's or so, so it had good craftsmenship to it. i lit it put it in the chest and ran, oh god i ran. my brother video taped it, it seemed like eternity waiting for it to explode. and then a thunderous kaboom. the blast knocked the hinges and closing board off the chest. after we got over the feeling of excitment and changing our pants(not not really) we inspected the damage the explosion drove the nails in the wood as one would expect.one of the nails was poking out of the other side of the chest!!! some of the screws were broken and some screw didn't go into it but had the frame of the screw enbedded in the wood. it was awsome.
