does anyone know the ratio between diesel and 40-0-0 fertilizer explosives? its cheap and easy access (and no, i dont plan on harming/ detroying anything or anyone) anyone know?

A good ratio is 50/50. The common name for NH4NO3 sensitized diesel is ANFO by the way.

And you do know that this will require a pretty heavy shockwave from a primary and probably a booster charge in order to detonate, right?

listen, this one has worked, so dont start assuming its bullshit, it was given to me by a farmer (yes, a farmer) who blew tree stumps out of the ground with it. and I, feeling that it could be useful knowledge in the future, wanted to know if anyone else has tried it

and yes, im going to need a blasting cap for it, not sure what though.

is it just me or does it seem odd that a farmer woul have used ANFO had access to blasting caps but could not provide a consistent ratio or any other information ??

a pretty hefty AP charge should do it but i wouldn't even try it by the sounds of it you sound like you re quite new trying to go about your information gather as to gain info but not to alert others my advise to this is to stand back watch read and ask questions for a long while and then once your truly ready and under stand the concepts a little better then give it a try

And a booster. What are you going to use for the booster?

You need the blasting cap to set off the booster and the booster to set off the secondary(I think ANFO is secondary, pretty sure.) I haven't done this before so anyone correct me if I am wrong. But what I suggest you do for the blasting cap should be about 2 grams AP(If your using MEKP as the booster you might be able to use a large flash salute). Then your booster could be MEKP, I have no idea how much. Then these should be enough to set off your ANFO. Of course your blasting cap should be next to the booster or in it and the booster should be in the secondary. And depending on how much ANFO you are using it will have to be contained.

And as for warweed, my friend (the farmer) was explaining to another one of my friends.(applying to become a cop, and about one of the tests which was identifying a pipe bomb, but anyways)he was explaining that most people used ammonia instead of diesel, which is a pretty stupid idea because its so unstable, and how some people used a metal pipe(that also being a dumb idea, too risky to set of a spark and blow off your hand)but the majority of people used plastic pipes. bu yea, he never specified on the ratio, he only said "Don't be a dumb fuck, use diesel"(not accountable for mis-phrasing) hahaa

But besides that are you saying it is possible to use ammonia intead of diesel to sensitive AN, thats new to me.

Be careful about mentioning ANFO. 700 pounds of it was stolen from a plant in California about 3 days ago, so the feds are probably going to be posting here at totse for a while.

you dont need a cap to set off pure (re-crystalized) AN add 1p al powder to desensitize the AN and also make it burn hotter like diesel would do. then make some lead azide or fluminate and add 1p to the mix

now all you need is a go 'ol visco to detonate this motherfucker!

AL powder- 1p

lead azide/fluminate- 1p

AN- 8p

I've never actually made this+ don't exactly know how sensitive it is but heard it works damn good. be careful!

Yeah that shit is powerful but you have to watch out watch charge you use be and my friends blew up a coppers letter box with it and they called csi so be careful what containers you put it in make sure they are not traceable

Whoops. I meant to say they stole 700 pounds of ammounium nitrate. It was fourteen 50lb bags they stole.

They showed a thing about ANFO on Ripley's Beleive it or not(or one of those shows like it) about a week ago, and mentioned that it has 1/2 the power of a uranium-based bomb and was supposed to be kept a secret from the public. They showed some blast testing with it too.
