A List of Compositions (for begginers)
Well, as some of you already know (from my previous posts) I am just starting out with pyrotechnics. And I was wondering if anyone can make a list of all the compositions for begginers.
These are all the chemicals that I am aquiring, so could any of you make a list of compositions with a mixture of these chemicals: Aluminum Powder (600 mesh), potassium perchlorate, sulfur, chracole air float, and potassium nitrate (KNO3)
And I am looking for the basic begginers compositions, and the mixtures you used when you just started out, like flash powder, BP, etc.
P.S Can you put the ratios in as well, and what the compostion of the chemicals makes (ie: BP, Flash, etc.).
Thanks in advance.

Re: A List of Compositions (for begginers)
1/1 potassium nitrate and magniesum.
75/25 potassium chlorate and charcoal.
75/25 potassium chlorate and sugar.
70/30 potassium perchlorate and charcoal.
Remember than any LE containing Na/P chlorate is usually unstable, so handle them with care.
There many other I will list when I get the time.
