Default COBs - Would I notice the difference between an 8 gram can and a 12 gram can?

I've been using CO2 canisters, which are 12 grams, for COBs. If I bought some whip cream nitrous canisters for COBs, which are 8 grams, would they be noticably weaker? I'm using black powder.

They will be equally louder, but they might be a little less powerful.
