I'm not sure if this is the right foum, but you guys should know.

I was wondering what was required in making an Ammonium/Hydrogen Sulfide stink bomb.

Dunno, but I prefer the Sulphur and Iron Powder type, you know, iron powder mixed with sulphur (long time since iv'e done it so I can't remember the exact mix )heated and then all you need to do is add a few drops of sulphuric (I think, or it could be hydrochloric) acid.

Rotten Eggs never smelt so good.

A Supply Teacher taught us this and it does work (when you get is right - as with everything)

Anyway, you can buy ammonium sulfide capsuls at fireworks and joke stores, which, interestingly enough, are designed specfically to be used as stink bombs. Not good enough for you?

Well let's see here, logic says - two capsuls = twice as powerful as one capsul. So buy as many as you need for the desired affect. And since these are made to be used for realitively harmless pranks, hopefully the fumes won't kill anyone.

This is how you get a stink bomb!

First you get some money.

Then you go to a joke shop.

Then you find the stink bombs.

Then you take the stink bombs to the counter.

Then you give the cashier your money.

He will also give you some change back.

Actually, those little vials don't give off much stink. You would probably be able to make the same thing from poking a hole in a egg and letting it sit for a long time.

For a real good stinkbomb, see if you can find a redneck that has a pet skunk, or try to catch one yourself, with disposable protective clothing of course, and a tomato bath afterwards. A skunk can spread that nasty stench that covers a large area, sticks for a long time, and all in one squirt.

Mind you, this is nth hand information, from an archive of a yahoo group, and I only posted a fragment, and they couldn't even spell sulphur correctly, so take it with a grain of salt.
