Default What places sell fireworks year-round?

I live in Vermont, where pretty much everything is illegal in terms of fireworks. I'm looking for whislting petes or whislte mix, which are legal in New Hampshire. However, I only know of two places in NH that sell fireworks, and neither of them carry fireworks year-round. So, are fireworks only legal to sell near the 4th (that's when they're open), or do these particular stores just pick the buisiest time of the year to sell? If I can get them year-round, does anyone know where that might be in New Hampshire? Maybe at Hampton Beach? (It's a very popular beach in NH with a lot of stores... sorta like a boardwalk).

I suppose this may be an abstract question, but any help would be appreciated.

I live close enough to NH to wonder the same thing, I've asked around, I've searched--nothing, and on the 4th the cops are looking for MA plates anyway.

My states laws are kinda funny. You can buy any and all consumer fireworks you want, as long as you sign an affidavit saying that you will leave the state with them in 48 hours, which no one does. So basically, you can buy and shoot whatever you want.

Phantom fireworks are located in New Hampshire. go here (http://www.fireworks.com/locations/select_state.asp?state=VT) for the locations in New Hampshire nearest Vermont.

I have no idea about the northeast, but here in NM, there are places along the roads around small towns that sell fireworks all year. They sell gasoline and sometimes have a resteraunt there as well. Neat places..

Goat, if you're going to be making a large purchase, it would well worth your time to travel to Champny's Market in Bow, NH. They're still selling fireworks, at a discount and have new(as of this week) inventory. It's where I buy my stuff..and they are cheap. If you want to give them a call, the ph. no. is (603) 225-7353. It appears they they may be going to year round operation. I do not know that they are, but it seems likely.

I have a 10% off coupon(although I always do better than 10% off). If you call ahead and tell them you're buying a larger order, you too should be able to do better than 10% off.

I've been to Phantom..a long time ago, and comparatively their prices were very high.

There is also NH Fireworks in Hooksett, NH. A wholesaler. They happen to be only few miles from Champny's market.

Neither of this places has a web site, but if you do some comparison shopping, I think you'll be very pleased with the prices.

NH Fireworks may not be willing to sell to you because you live in VT. They've had legal troubles in the past.

If you travel to NH via I-89, Champny's market is about five miles from the I-89 terminus in Bow.

if your spending alot www.usfireworks.biz (http://www.usfireworks.biz) is cheap, but the trucking charges are anywhere from 80-120 dollars, so if your buying just a few things its not really worth it.
