i had read somewhere that in the olden days squibs were blackpowder in tissue paper and they would jet around a little bit. has anyone else heard this and if so does anyone know the actuall procedure for making them?

I tend to stray away form attaching stuff to your skin (I did a homemade squib once and it hurt like a bitch!) and if done wrong, you could end up really hurting yourself!

To simulate bullet hits in your flesh, simply tape one of these to wherever you'd like to be "shot", and ignite the squib. This will blow a fair-size chunk of flesh out, and cause cause a realistic spray of blood, accurately simulating the action of a bullet hit on your body. This, however, is the least popular of the methods, due to several drawbacks such as dismemberment and undue amputation.

i know of bullet squibs but these sounded more like standalone fireworks just cheap little things
