Just about any aluminum 350 mesh and higher is good for flash powder, but for spherical it must be at least 400. Flake aluminum works best.

This stuff is good to use, it is 400 mesh i beleive, and it works almost as well as the ALUMINUM POWDER -600 mesh , 3mic H- SUPER ( 1-LB) Pyro Grade.
But I would go with the 600 mesh, mainly because I have the extra $$ to spend.
