Default small stuff

After my "incident" I stick mainly to realitively small stuff like polumas and big propane balloons, etc. To day I got an idea since I have some VERY fine BP left(like flour)and I filled up half of a drinking straw with it almost to the top and fused it and gave it heavy hot glue plugs. My question is : about how loud will it be? Thanks. Sorry for the dumbass question.

try burying it underground a little. And you can probably make a good estimation of how loud it will be by the damage it does to the casing.

I did this before too. Most likely, you'll get a rocket type thing because the hot glue will burn out and the thing will shoot around.

Yeah I tried it and it sucked.....hard. It just made a weak little "pop" noise and srpayed the water around a little.(it was inside a plastic cup filled with water.

Yeah, it was a drinking straw, you cant count on much of an explosion with such weak confinement. Try a think paper casing, and it will work much better.

yes, i agree with icp, the casing was to weak. And you say you filled almost to the top. You usually should only fill 3/4's of the way, tops. Andfrom experience, hot glue end plugs don't hold up very well, they ingintion of the powder usually melts them.

hot glue makes dandy end plugs ifin there thick. there are better end plugs like durhams, epoxy but hell it's cheap.

The fuse might melt the hot glue a little, and make the plug weak, but as long as the hot glue plug is thick enough and the diameter of the plug is wide enough, there shouldnt be too big of a problem.
