| Games People Play Games People Play is where to discuss personal computer, video game console, and arcade hardware and software - be it RPG, Sim, Strategy, Fighting, Action/Platform, or any other category. Although discussion of modern platforms/software will most likely dominate, discussion of classic videogame/computer hardware and software is always enjoyable, and certainly welcome - ESPECIALLY since there are public domain/shareware emulators of nearly every older computer/console available these days. Here's a taste of what awaits you: Nintendo-vs-Sega-vs-Sony, Console-vs-PC-vs-Mac, Hardware spec sheets/information, Industry news and discussion, Software reviews, IRC conference announcements/Reports, Emulators, Emulators, Emulators! ... and much, much more! |

Does anyone know of any good emulators for it? If this belongs in the hacking forum please move it at your discretion Kai. But I have..."acquired" several 360 games which I have no use for except as coasters, and I want to play them on my PC.
Any programs/suggestions?

Um, no. Emulating a triple-core 3GHz processor is beyond the average PC. It's beyond the very un-average PC.

I don't think there will be an xbox 360 emulator for years, hopefully you made this thread jokingly.

How thick does the irony get? A new x86 Mac emulating a tweaked-out PowerPC? I'm just gonna go find a PC fanboy, now, so you can tell him why the Pro supports 16GB ram and only one video card...
Lemme put it this way:
Unless MS discloses complete specifications for every aspect of the X360, it's gonna be years before it can be reverse-engineered enough to run on consumer PC hardware.
