i just got Diablo 2 and the expansion about 3 days ago and yesterday i entered my first 'cow game'. For those who don't know, you need to put Wirt's Leg and a Tome of Town Portal in the cube and combine them and it opens a portal to a large field with MANY cows with axes and they give you a lot of exp when u kill them.
What i am wondering is WHO THE HELL FIGURED OUT THIS INSANE SECRET?!!?
any info will help my confused mind.

Yeah the cow game suxs abit, personally I prefere Blood Runs, i.e Blood Foot Hills. there better and slightly more exp, although you don't get as good items, I managed to level up a barb to lvl 50 from just doing normal Blood runs, and it didn't take as long as you might think

Yes bloody foothills are in act 5, of the expansion.
Back in the day when we would play diablo (Big Diaye as we called it) wehad a pally who was level 80 with a schaffers hammer, and hella SOJS. I ahd a level 70 sorc too.

Hehe, I am a D2 god. I have a level 89 classic sorceress on hardcore. (classic is much harder then xpansion)
I have like 10 accounts of characters and 5 accounts of mules. 
Ive been playing since it was released tho ^^

Blood runs are good if you have a higher mf but cow runs are great though. I had a 93 lightning sorceress, 88 ice sorc, 97 summon necro, 85 barb, and a 93 amazon. That game was my life. Everyday, I would be playing d2, no matter what. I sold my barb for $100 to some newb on paypal. Oh well, those times were awesome though...when everyone would ask you to rush them or trade god items. I think im gonna cry now...

god... i hope the 1.10 patch fixes retared bots and shit people use. although maphack was pretty cool, thats the only hack i ever used in the game.

Maphack is amazing.
If not just for the fact that it turns off the ambient lighting and kills Shenk's overdramatic system killing death sequence.
I don't play much D2 anymore. But when I did I loved it. Btw. my lvl 89 assassin, lvl 78 sorc, lvl 91 barb and lvl 80 paladin, I got my fill.
No blood runs or cow levels. Well, ok, a couple, but not 100s of them like some people I know...
