This a a short Flash video relating to the Atheist delusion. This accurately reflects my opinion regarding god, and whatnot.

God is real, because it says so in this book written by god. We can be sure it was written by god because it says in the book that god would never lie.

And of course, why would someone want to make up a book and say that some kind of space hero told them to wrote it and you have to do what I say and my dad is bigger than your dad.

Shut up, God is real and I know so. Just read the bible.

first few lines were something like this:

"atheists are deluded, god created everything, how do i know? the bible says so and god wrote the bible."

he says the the earth is 6000 years old because the bible says so, and since its god word then it has to be true.

then it just gets really fucking stupid.

look, the simple argument here is that the bible is just some book. written by people, edited, compiled and translated by people. to submit the bible as evidence is like submitting a tom clancy novel. they are boring and make shit films, but in the end they are both the creation of deluded men.

if the bible is definitive, how are there so many contradictions? why do people ignore so much of it? why did so many books get left out? did the books that were left out chronicle shit that god said that then took back?

the bible is not accurate, it is myths and stories. anyone who has read the slightest bit of mythology will see hundreds of parallels that cannot just be coincidence.

i think it was pretty funny when he says that science is correct about everything else, it can cure deseases, harness the atom, a thousand things, but when it comes to subject matter in the bible, it is completely wrong.

well, i would have thought that it means the bible is wrong. what are the odds for something to be 100% correct is every single tested aspect... except for random points mentioned in the bible.

but that flash thing is pointless. he mentioned things that are true. observable evolution does occur, fossil records do leave a path of evolution and we can see light from stars over 6000 light years away. he doesn't counter them, he just says "god did it".

i can understand why he encourages people to stop thinking and just belive, because if people thought on thier own for thirty seconds they would see that his 'presentation' makes sweet fuck all sense.

im going to carry on beliving what i can see, what has been proven, what i can observe and what i can replicate. you guys can bury your heads in the sand and belive your little storybook. have a nice life, im sure you will reach your full potential with the closed minded subservient attitude.

I liked how the satire was more subtle.

The only problem being, of course, that some people won't pick it up due to stupidity.

I didn't say whose stupidity though---

Christians will think it's serious because they themselves are stupid, and atheists will think it's serious because of how stupid they think christians are, so much so that they think that guy is serious, and just very dumb.

Sadly though, some people believe just that.
