I so messed up what I had posted here!!

Basically, what has happened is, I was reading Galatians this morning. Paul had told the church of Galatia that they'd recieved him in a sickly condition, and that the people who were preaching circumcision to them were doing it to bring glory to the flesh and not to God, and that it made those people feel good because they were being listened to and followed after. It had nothing to do with the Glory of God for those people, preaching their own doctrine.

So I began to wonder if today's people would have accepted the Gospel of Christ from someone who appeared sickly? Hungry christians usually do, to be honest. People who are hungry want God and that's what they get. They pull for God, and push into God. They surround themselves with things pertaining to God. THEN, you have the religious christians who think they know God, and limit God because YOU'RE not what they thought YOU'D be. That shows you where their faith was, IN YOU. If people put their faith in man, then they get what man can offer, but when they put their faith in God, they get what God offers. God is only limited by the limits you set, in your life. This is why I absolutely refuse to accept thoughts that would encourage doubt and unbelief. My God is a BIG GOd and there's nothing impossible for Him. He will be, and is as effective in my life as I can believe Him to be, and allow Him to be. So take the limits off of God.

A religious person who have looked at Paul, seen HIM as sick, and would not have listened to Him, a hungry person would believe.

There is a body of evidence which suggests that Jesus himself was 'crippled' or in some way visibly deformed. In any case it's pretty certain he was NOT the 6'3" blond haired wasp jock commonly portrayed.

Personally I have often wondered if Paul suffered from Syphilis. No real evidence for it but there are hints.

What evidence do you offer of Gods activity in your life?

Hallelujah. Hey, You know what. I'm radical for God. So here's the deal, either way you're going to think I'm crazy.

That's PRAYER, and PRAYER is communion with God, not to. God puts the vision in my heart, if and when I cooperate He brings it to pass. I get 'steps' and I do what God wants me to do and then I get more steps from the Spirit. You don't understand that and you can't with your carnal mind. Yes, I did say carnal. That's exactly what it is. Spiritual things are SPIRITUALLY discerned. Not mentally. Try as you may, to UNDERSTAND with your mind, the things of God, and you never will. It's a SPIRITUAL thing. IT'S A GOD THING. Hallelujah.

That energy in me, that doesn't get destoryed, because it can't be, because it's something GOD made of himself, and having been placed inside of me, is what seeks God out and follows Him. It's the KNOWING. It's the deep calling to the deep. It's the void you try to fill with sex, drugs, money, etc. It's the void that can only be filled when wanted badly enough to lay down your life and to take on HIS. Love, you want love? GOD IS LOVE. You want God, and God wants you, but He's a gentleman. You have to make allowance, and truely want Him more than any other thing(s).

I'm not married, and I haven't been in a relationship with a man OR WOMAN (to stay clear on that) in 2 years, and I don't even NEED that to be filled, because I am filled. Yes, I claim my man of God, but He'll find me. I'm not about to 'date', I know that I'll know him when I see him, and he'll know me. There will be that 'knowing'. The deep calling to the deep.

I lived my life for a while

Asking for signs to believe in

God played defense in my trial

Quietly hanging there bleeding

While i cast lots for his robe

While i point my bloody finger

He pays debts that i owe

He says "Father, forgive them"

I used to ask for a sign to believe in

But he never gave me a reason to ever doubt Him

Give me one reason to doubt He is Messiah

Give me one reason to doubt He is alive

Give me one reason to doubt i am the apple of His eye

Just one reason now

Just one reason to doubt

Just one reason now

Just one reason to doubt

Jesus Christ

I see the faith of our fathers

Abraham, Issac, and Jacob

They never saw what was promised

But they never once felt forsaken

Through fire, famine, and sword

Tribulation and war

They never asked for a sign to beleive in

So tell me how we stand in judgment and ever doubt Him

Give me one reason to doubt He is Messiah

Give me one reason to doubt He is alive

Give me one reason to doubt i am the apple of His eye

Just one reason now

Just one reason to doubt

Just one reason now

Just one reason to doubt

Jesus Christ

Dear Source,

I like the name. You wish to see the Lord in a Christians life. Usually you can look at their lives and see God working through them. Evidence is a broad term. I would suggest looking at man's dependence on nature. Then take a look at the power of love and what it works in people. But again it is hard to see the Lord through anything more than what he has made visible and clear to us. Nature can be blurry and so can feelings which is why we can not rely on them. Suffering and the Cross are the means by which the Lord has chosen to be known. Look into that in areas such as the Scriptures, the Heidelberg Disputation and your own life.
