If you pretend God is like a computer program, with a bunch of if-else statements, you can resolve 90% of those contradictions.
I'm not saying the Bible is without contradiction (I'm convinced there are several) but most of those you provided are easily resolved. I obviously don't have time to refute all of the above, but if you are unable to resolve any of the above using the if-else method, just post it and we can take a closer look at it.
Also, for the record, I am an atheist. I think Christianity/Judaism/Islam/anything else involving a "God" is ridiculous. However, if a theist asks you why you're an atheist, and you have nothing but a half-assed list of biblical contradictions you found online, you're going to get laughed at and make the rest of us atheists look stupid.

Intelligent people all know the bible has contradictions and can't be taken that seriously. Intelligent people at this point also accept the overwhelming proof for evolution, as well as the overwhelming proof outside of evolution which shows the world is very old and was not created 6000 years ago, or 12000, creationists can't decide but they will tell you with absolute certainty that they are each right 100%.
That list doesn't really help, because anyone who is rational and intelligent knows this already and anyone who is irrational enough to continue to deny contradictions and even when the world was created, will simply continue closing their eyes and ignoring it.
The next generation will basically end creationism (I hope) and maybe we can move on from all the dogma bullshit. It's ridiculous, I'm getting tired of putting up with it so I can't begin to imagine how the scientific community must feel.

As much as I agree with your position, I absolutely detest the "everyone knows X, so you'd be an idiot if you failed to accept X" argument. e.g: How do we know God exists? Everyone knows God exists!

Not endorsing the concept of God or any of that, and I read a few lines at the beginning, but one thing that is most likely a pattern in many of those is something as in the Peaceful God of War. Islam has a good reference to that and they create such contradictions to show what the paradox of God is and how he can't be so easily spoken of (think Koans from Zen). "A God so mericiful, I shall proudly await his salvation when I have lived a life of pure sin, yet a God so wrathful, I fear his coming anger for my most basic impurities" and shit like that.

Your exremely long list of contradictions is not nearly long enough to convince people of faith.
It's ok, your new, alot of people (myself included) try, and try again, to use logic to persuade religous people to rethink what they are blindly following, but if they didn't ignore logic they wouldn't have the belief in the first place.

Hahaha lol.
Before you start looking at the "contradictions" of the Bible. You must first read what the heck is being talked about.
Up the top of your copy and paste post, it said "God was satisifed" then it said "He was dissatisfied".. Well I bet you didnt bother to get off your but, go and get a Bible, and read those chapters. And see what has been said. Those were from two totally different topics all together. You didnt know that. Why? because you didnt even bother to have a look at the chapters for yourself. You just took some crap off the net from some n00b who has no clue, and said "ahh this must be true, if its on the net" (in a lot of cases is true, lol).
Just some pointers for you before you start bagging Christianity.

I bet he didn't even bother to read what he copied and pasted. He, like most people in this thread, are simply taking it on faith that these verses are actually contradictory without looking at the context.
I'm beginning to realize that most atheists are just as stupid, if not stupider, than most christians (despite the fact that I am an atheist).

I didn't say it's because everyone knows that. I only said that rational people accept that the bible is not 100% literally error free, and that is because it is logically impossible for it to be so- the bible makes statements that cannot both be true.
Even in the literal 6 day creation story, one version says man was created before animals and the other says he was created after. These cannot both be logically true, and by definition you are irrational if you accept what cannot be logically true to be true.
Yes, I agree with you that the argument "everyone knows that so it's true" is a bad one but that's not the argument I was making.
I was simply saying that the people who accept creation literally and believe the bible to be 100% accurate and error free in every way are irrational by logic and by definition, and that this list of contradictions isn't going to change their minds.

Those contradictions are stupid. Besides, you cannot prove Christianity is the correct religion, just like you cannot prove any of the other religions are correct, it all relied on faith. Being Christian runs the same risk of eternal damnation as being Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, or a worshipper of Rah. Itâs pointless to believe in any of them. And, there may or may not be a god, but weâd know nothing about it, weâd not even know if it existed or not, so thereâs no point in believing in one.
Itâs simply pointless to be a believer. We donât need religion for morals, and you can believe in an afterlife without religion, so it is pointless.

Ooh, Iâm shaking. You realise, right, that youâre running the same risk as us atheists? Youâre fucked if it turns out another religion is true, and if one of the religions is true, that is a great possibility, since there are thousands of religions.
Youâre running the same risk factor as us atheists, so got off your high horse and stop preaching about judgement day.

Yeah what would suck more is that people who blasphemed and said God has a Son and is a Father and is 3 in one will end up burning in hell fire along with the athiests they so despised.

And what do these contradictions show?
Not that Christianity is unreal but it shows precisely the opposite... It gives meaning to Deus Invictus, the all powerful victorious God. Only He knows, sees, and understands all. He understands when something is good and when something is bad, it all depends on circumstance, His Will, and His Plan for the future and you and me.
He loves us but because of this love he can put us through trial by great pain and suffering so we acheive salvation in the afterlife.
EDIT: Discordianism at its finest.

To elaborate: weâre sent to hell by god so we have to worship god to save ourselves from god. Either way god has fucked us over: be a slave or burn in hell.
That is if god is real of course.

It'd be much easier to love without the gun against our heads.
I honestly can't believe that a benevolent god would use eternal damnation. I could definitely see temporary damnation to purify, but not eternal.

I have checked up on many of these texts and they have been taken out of context. I, like some others here would suggest reading the Bible yourself. For it is sacred to me, and since I do not find you doing this with other important religious or even secular writing it is offensive. Many things can be twisted into contradictions. Look at the Jim Jones cult, he got people to commit mass suicide yet I am 100% sure that is no where in the Bible. So if you take all of those things in context and come back with some decent apologetic value that holds some wieght I will be happy to explain anything you like to the best of my ability. Oh and Abrahim, what is it that you believe exactly? I have seen reality... though I still do not see how that is God. Have you ever heard of the Kalam Arguement?

There is no "gun" pointed at your heads. There is a gift given. You do not have to obey anything or do anything. It is a free gift. Yes, people are sinners and in need of this gift. But there is nothing you have to DO for it. God does not SEND people to hell. They choose it. There are two roads and for some reason people find hell amusing? There is no gun here. You can accept a wonderous gift meant to set you free. For "Christ set us free for freedoms sake, that we might no longer be a slave to sin." OR you can choose eternal death. God did not and does not make you sin and He does not make you go to hell. Men sin and deserve condemnation, but Christ died to save us. So pick your destiny or instead accept Christ and become a true individual. It is not like Christians are not changed. It has changed me so much. I now see that I was a slave to society, to friends, family, oppinions, looks, vanity, pride, envy. But now I am set free and can truly live for others. God is love and can set you free if you simply let him.

Did you even read my post? Men have proved worthy of Hell, God wants different, hence the wanting to save us.

Yes, I read your post. Worthy of hell? Anyone is worthy of hell since itâs meant to be a cesspool. God is simply blackmailing us, we have a choice: hell or do as god tells you to without questioning him. Heâs a cunt.
P.S, if you think youâre free, you are incredibly wrong. You are a slave to a lie.

Sorry, but no amount of sugar-coating is going to change the fact that one is forced to either chose God, or suffer an eternity of suffering.
You're right about one thing though, there is no "gun" being pointed at our heads. That would be a humongous understatement. A gun doesn't even come close to describing what we would be destined to suffer needlessly if we do not believe in your illogical god.

Certainly, you can go to this link to see different takes on the issue. You'll also find mine:

If you don't feel like reading that then to put it succinctly: it is horrendous to praise and worship a god which needlessly allows suffering to exist.

I've really never thought about that they're this many contridictions in the bible, good thing I don't believe in the bible and all I guess, maybe why I don't care, but this has given me something to show my father if he comes bible thumping around me again
and as for a few posters who say man is worthy of hell, if my memory serves, god created hell for those who opposed him, ie. lucifer and his fellow angels that followed him. He made hell for anyone/thing that opposed him, so we are not worthy of hell, it's just a 50 cal tank barrel held to our heads

although i do not belive in the bible or what it claims to say these are all as many people have said above taken out of context,
the thing i want to comment on is, well most of the coversation i see here is,
"Your wrong" "o yea well your gay"
so there is something i would like to point out, it is offten a tacktic of a lossing apponent in a debate not to try and prove you wrong but to attack you

God'll line all of us up according to our beliefs, I'll go into one group and you'll go into the other.
One will be people who adopted their beliefs because of love.
The other will be people who adopted their beliefs based on fear.
And reciting the words of narrow minded men - who had the arrogance to pass off their own words as the literal word of God - won't help YOU on that day.

Re: A List of Bible Contradictions
Sugar coated.. you gotta be kidding me? You either take it sugar coated, or the bare and brutal truth.. which one shall it be? Sugar or flesh?
I laughed when "Hell is a big f*****g gun.. good one lol.
You see the thing is, you can not have the best of both worlds. You can't do what ever the heck you like on this world, and expect to go to Heaven. But when/ if you repent for the sins, and actually mean it, live a Christian walk, good on you. But if you don't well. Im not gonna say anything, cause I got told to get off my high horse. I'm off it, and I'm shutting up. Good luck

Sorry, your beliefs don't actually require this step.
Although our lives would probably be better living according to JESUS' teachings, it's still unneccesary.
He'll love us all the same, and so will god, as long as we follow our hearts.
To listen to our hearts, we have to look inward. Nothing outside us can to it for us, but people have made various belief systems to try and help us to do it.
They were all made by men, it's hard to know which ones will help more than others.
But it's easy to see which ones help the least by their lies - that you're anything less than divine, anything less than perfect, and your nature is anything other than good.
