Converting to catholocism

As i'm getting older, i am finding it an increasing thing to do to turn to god when i need help or guidence, i pray, i think what jesus would do, but i also do what other normal guys my age would, drink, drugs and sex.

I am thinking more and more about turning to the catholic religion becuase it isnt the normal christian way of going to church every sunday, i could go to confession and seek some guidence in my life.

so what do you think i should do, should i continue in what i'm doing jsut praying or should i turn to catholocism and go the whole 9 yards ?

Why the hell would you want to do that?

Just do the right thing because it's the right thing. You don't need a paedo-priest to tell you that. You don't need to confess if you don't do any wrong.

Do whatever you feel will be ebst. I went through a similar situation(though I'm a Catholic that turned away from the religion). Some people definitely can use religion in their lives, and there is NOTHING wrong with that. I know plenty of people who use religion as a crutch, and they live happy, great lives. Some people can function without religion and some can't. I guess you just need to decide which type of person you are.

I think that i've been turning to someone that wont answer me in an attempt to get the answers i want to a certain question, i think this is something i have to work out, but it would help to have some more opinions, thanks alot to the guys who have already helped me.
