The idea of fire and goat footed demons seems a little dated. Is there like a personnel hell for everyone, or is it just a big congregation of suffering?

I would say hell is one big math class where the clock never ticks.

Advanced Math class. And the clock ticks right up to one second before semesters end, then starts going backwards. *shudder* Personally, I think you get trapped under a waterbed for all eternity, so you can't breathe.

Welcome to Totse, bitch. Oh, right.

Everything points to a big congregation of suffering.

There is no hell. No finite sin can justify infinite punishment.

I dont care if you're the Pet stomping lady or a suicide bomber who blows up 3000 people. Nothing you can do on earth can justify eternal damnation.

Hell, even the muslims believe that your punishment ends after a while, so why is it that only christianity tries to scare you shitless into converting?

Hell is spending eternity away from God. He thinks that's a punishment.

Goat footed demons are based on Azazel which some interpret as Satan but was originally based on a Goat God worshiped by shepards in some Middle Eastern Countries. The Idea of a Burning pit of fire and damnation through burning is not exclusive to the bible, it appears in Mongolia and in China. Bhuddism spread the idea of hell and demons also all the way to Japan.

Other religions have far worse places than hell. Christians think they have it all figured out, but they're running as big a risk as atheists and everyone else.
