So I got my free Koran in the mail yesterday

I'd say the parts I read were somewhat interesting. I skipped around looking at the translator's commentary and stuff, but I don't have time or feel like reading the entire thing. So does anyone know of interesting parts to look at? For the record, I've read most of the bible.

One oddity was the seperate explanation of Adam and Eve I found. Apparently, Adam and Eve were sent to Earth with info on how to worship Allah, they were not completely ignorant like in the bible. Then it goes on to say that A&E's descendants lost touch with the right way to worship allah, and were starting totally wrong spinoff religions(*cough* christians and jews)

Meh, I thought it was a sin to reproduce it any other language lest it lose its purity which is why "Death to all the Infidels" (something like that) is not really what its saying and we can never know what it really says unless we go learn arabic...

Other than that, thats sweet that you now have your own English Koran. (unless you DO READ ARABIC...in which case ingore this)

Yes, it's in English. I'd like to learn Arabic though.

We`ll never understand the Qur`an if we don`t do the work of the prophet, which because of that work, Allah sent the Qur`an.

If you say we have to learn arab to understand quran that is wrong.

you must make dakwah then you`ll understand quran.

What is the job of the prophets? To tell mankind the meaning of Laa Ilaha IlALLAH.
