I was at prayer last night, and My pastor told us about it. I'm don't really have the time lately to sit down and watch tv. I'm lucky if I get to watch the news. I hadn't a clue what he was talking about, and when I had asked him, he told me. Then, another Brother in Christ, at corp. prayer, figured it would be cute to see Buddah, Muhammed, and all those other little false gods (demons because that's what they're worshipping) were bowing down before the cross at the feet of Jesus.

I still don't see why people get mad at Buddha. Siddarta Gautama was a peaceful, easy going guy. I don't think he said he was a god. He did talk about Nirvana, but he never said he was a god.
Muhammed never claimed he was a god. He said he was a prophet, and people see him as a prophet. Not once did he say he was a god. He said he had contacted God whilst in a cave in a mountain he would go to "meditate" in.
Also, Islam is essentially a spin on Christianity. He acknowledged Jesus's words and his being, and he saw himself to be the last prophet. Apparently this worked, for the Bedouin tribes after this had become sedentary and started to become a true civilization.

The fact that your pushing your values and views onto a public system with many different values and faiths and trying to make yours the most prodominate just shows a lack of care and concern for others.
If you want something of your faith taught, you go to a church or a private school or you move here to Canada and send your kid to a Catholic school. Schools arn't meant to push any religious views. And lastly

Oh, also, if memory serves me, the government and judicial system isn't suppost to care or support your beliefs. I remember hearing something about a "Seperation Of Church And State" somewhere in the laws. Then again, maybe I'm wrong and that got removed recently.

If you really want to get into it, Seperation of Church and State" is not even in the constitution.

There are all kinds of Jews, but most of them see Christians as the reason Judaism was watered down. They don't believe Jesus was the Messiah, and they reject the doctrine of the New Testament.

Before anyone ask, I'm not against any religion, for I also believe in God, but I don't consider myself a Christian or whatever because these religions were created by mankind. Jesus never told you to build churchs and worship God, he just said that when you need God will help and answer your prayers.
EDIT: sorry to get off topic. It's quite a nice pic, actually, makes us (me at least) think about what we should be doing to give back to Christ for what he did for us.

I watched the passion of christ
so like he died for us?
alot of people die for other people.. w/e..
and It looks like religion is just another excuse to pick at each other..
like I read a lot of post here that say:
"yeah dont try reasoning with him.. hes christian.." oh and these jews yadayada..
these terrorist muslims..yakayaka..
c'mon people..
and I think religion is just a way of our brain to try to make some scence of the fact that we KNOW we are going to die.. there's nothing we can do about it.. and we cant comprehend what will happen to us after death?? how can you describe : just not being.. nothingness.. just dont exist anymore..
I'd like a responce from you people, specially the more religious types.
why do you believe in god??
because of the bible?? what if that was just a big fiction story that blew out of proportion?? idk..
how can you explain everything?? the universe.. everything..
oh and I think I seen something somewere.. that christ never wanted churches.. i think it said something about your body being your temple.. i dont know..
